OUR SENIOR PASTOR
My name is
David Turner and I welcome you to First United Methodist Church
of Irving, Texas. I hope you will take advantage of this great
time to be spiritually fed. What an honor to welcome back one of
our former pastors, Tommy Moon. Rarely in the church today do we
have such an opportunity to experience an event like this one!
Come and worship with us as we praise God and celebrate our
first io3. years.
OUR GOAL
The goal of our Homecoming is
to reach people for Jesus Christ, spread the love of Christ and
renew and refresh our church and community with spiritual fire.
It is our intention that it be an event that reaches beyond our
church. If you are visiting with us, we are very happy. We know
that many will come that have a church home and we hope that you
will take what you receive here and spread the excitement to
others. However, if you are looking for a church home, we would
be very happy for you to choose this church; you are welcome
here. We are alive and spirit-filled and know that you will find
the presence of the transforming power of God's spirit at First
Methodist, Irving.
