Homecoming 101 Evangelists
Tommy and Sue Moon

Tommy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He
and his family were active members of Lake Highlands UMC where
Ed Blythe served as pastor. During his last year at seminary, he
joined the staff of FUMC, Irving. Tommy and Sue were married at
First Church and have just celebrated their 25th wedding
anniversary.
In 1990 they were sent out by the Methodist
Church to be missionaries in south Mexico and served in Puebla
for 17 years doing church planting, theological education and
leadership development.
Tommy and Sue currently live in Orange City,
Iowa where Tommy works as the Director of Global Ministries at
Northwestern College. They have one daughter, Catie, who
recently graduated from Texas A&M and is currently working as
the International Coordinator for an archaeological site in
Pintia, Spain. She will begin graduate studies at Durham
University in the Fall.
Though Tommy and Sue have come off from the
mission field, their passion for global outreach (and Mexican
food) remain as strong as ever!
